BardRPG is a genre-agnostic tabletop RPG that puts powerful storytelling tools in the player’s hands by leaning on existing literary tropes and plot structures. Players build characters by combining and iterating on Jungian archetypes, while sessions and campaigns are structured according to Kishotenketsu storytelling styles.

Similar to its focus on literary tropes for character creation and campaign structure, BardRPG takes a trope-first approach to genre guidance. It includes tips for running games in a variety of settings, and offers tools for mashing up genres.
